Ballot 2026

Kensington’s Business Improvement District (BID), Opportunity Kensington, concludes its first term on 31st March 2027.

Over the past five years, the BID has worked hard to make Kensington more vibrant, welcoming and enjoyable – from launching our popular Saturday markets and memorable seasonal events to creating a greener streetscape and safer streets.

We want to build on this progress and do even more – but we need you to vote ‘Yes’ to continue this important work.

• Ballot papers are despatched to voting* businesses on 19th October 2026
• Voters then have 1 month to vote on whether they would like Opportunity Kensington to continue its programme for the next 5 years (2027-2032)
• Ballot papers are returned via post using the enclosed pre-paid envelope
• The ballot closes on 19th November at 5pm. All ballot papers must be received by this time to be counted.
• Opportunity Kensington will announce the result of the ballot on 20th November.
• If successful, Opportunity Kensington’s next 5-year term will begin on 1st April 2027.
