Halloween happenings on High Street Kensington in 2026

Halloween 2025 Kensington

This October, High Street Kensington will once again become London’s Home of Halloween, as the neighbourhood transforms into a spellbinding mix of playful surprises, including googly eyes, peculiar characters and a themed family-friendly take-over of Holland Park.

Throughout October half term (24–31 October), visitors will be able to follow a mapped Halloween trail through High Street Kensington’s shops and attractions with themed workshops, seasonal treats and Halloween surprises along the way.

Then, on Halloween itself (31 October) from 4-7pm, Holland Park will transform into the Playful Park of Peculiar – a spectacular free-to-enter Halloween takeover. Families will be able to explore a theatrical playground of spooky characters, immersive installations, interactive games and live entertainment in one of London’s most atmospheric park settings. They can also experience some of the capital’s best trick-or-treating, with the neighbourhood’s famous Halloween-decorated houses once again putting on their legendary displays.

Earlier in the day, from 10am–4.30pm, the popular Big Kensington Vintage Flea market returns with a gothic twist. Expect an eclectic mix of mid-century furniture, vintage fashion and design, reimagined with a darkly decadent aesthetic featuring grand candelabras, Victorian-inspired gowns, black lace and moody florals.

The destination’s cultural institutions will also join the celebrations, with Leighton House, Sambourne House and the Design Museum hosting a programme of Halloween-themed events and activities.

ull programme details will be announced soon.
